How I view: Literature

I’ve been a little silent lately in social media, so I thought I’d take this time to announce that I’m in the midst of a makeover!  I feel like it’s actually a whole person makeover involving health, goals, business, life . . . but for now, I will just say that my blog and website are undergoing a much needed facelift!

I’ve recently been taking courses with a fabulous group of photographers who have recently or are in the process of creating or making over their sites as well.   It’s been a long, arduous process, but we are persevering!  In the end, we have become a great support network for each other. I now need to find time to finish up my design and launch that in the next couple months.  So you’ll just have to hang on a bit more for that ;)

This same group of photographers decided to start a blog circle. A fantastic idea where each month we will showcase our interpretation of a monthly theme, and challenge our artistic eye.  Through this collaborative project we hope to continue to grow creatively with our photography and share our talents with you!

This month we focus on how we view: literature
Enjoy!

Cutie Ava and her Family! | San Diego Family Photographer

We love a session with adorable kids, and little Ava was an absolute doll at this session!  Typically kiddos run AWAY from the camera, but I found she was running towards me so much I had to change my lens at one point- ha ha!  Another just gorgeous and lovely family – I swear I must have a lucky streak this year with all the good looking clients I’ve been photographing this year!

I met cutie doll, Ava, and her mom at a Stroller Strides portrait event earlier in the year.  They decided to book a holiday session after all the compliments they received over their image from that event.  I was so flattered to hear that story when I met up with them at the beach! Thanks for the fun beach day, cutie family!

The Gorgeous Smith Family! | San Diego Family Photographer

Can we say “gorgeous family”??  I had such an easy time editing this session, merely because when the entire family knows how to work the camera, you get magic! Once in awhile we have a session where we sit back and say, “That was delightfully easy on us!” and this was that session!

Taylor and Lauren, their two beautiful daughters, had so much poise and grace, I was truly impressed.  Such a sweet, fun, loving family, and we were truly thankful to be a part of their day!

Thank you, Smith Family, for making our week!

Jam Session – San Diego Portrait Photography

Meet the Jam family!  I was honored to be invited to their home for this session. I loved the gorgeous light in their backyard during their session, and home sessions are always just so personal and special.

Big sister Sophie was a doll and such a wonderful model all the way through.  Mae, on the other hand had her own agenda, and was hoping that I would be done soon so she could watch Secret of the Wings since it was coming out that day!   Mae’s smiles started to fade halfway through, but she managed some great laughs at the end of the session with some of dad’s tickling and cuddles :)

Thank you so much for sharing your afternoon with me, Jam Family, hope you love these as much as we do!
