Can we please discuss the cuteness that are these little girls?! From doll-faced Sahara’s open-mouthed expressions, to big sister Sienna’s helpfulness through the session (even through getting an elbow a time or two from her baby sister!), to middle sis Savvy hitting some fierce poses (middle children always know how to bring it when it counts), we could just eat these three up!

We took photos of each little one in front of “their” door, to show off their ages, and mom and dad picked 41 for…well for fun we suppose! Maybe because 4 + 1 = 5, and this family of 5 made our day! Thank you for inviting us to join in on your special time, we loved every minute!

Brewers ‘n Boots {Family Portraits San Diego}

For this year’s holiday portraits, Rebecca was inspired to put together cowgirl outfits and boots for her gang of sassy little ladies! We headed to a beautiful golden meadow with rustic fences to make her vision complete. Flanked by a coordinating mom and dad, this group couldn’t get any more gorgeous!

This session was even more special for me since I’ve been blessed to see these beauties grow and change since their second girl Emilie was born.  Mom was a maternity model at a workshop I put together for a group of photographers, then Emilie was our precious newborn model with big sister Audrey posing by her side. Since then, Isobel joined their gorgeous family, and I’ve had so much fun getting to know all three girls’ lovely personalities – I can’t wait to see more of this family in the coming years!

I loved trying to capture the drama of a body in motion for this incredible fitness shoot. Jason asked me to conceptualize how to show him off at his peak of fitness before one of his bodybuilding shows (Team Iron and Team World Nutrition are both blessed to call him a team member). I was honored to work with one of the country’s finest as we made our way around the gym that is his second home on Camp Pendleton. His kind personality only made the day better, and I learned a little bit about his world of nutrition and fitness. Turns out this young man doesn’t just compete, he loves to help motivate others on his blog www.strictlymotivated.com. Biewengas and the Beach {Family Portraits San Diego}

The Biewenga family’s beauty and spirit took my breath away at our last photo shoot. It’s impossible not to smile when little Noah is grinning at you! These two fantastic doctors took time away from their busy days filled with comparing the haircuts of McDreamy and McSteamy (hmm…that might be different clients :) ) to run through the waves and the rocks with me before the sun set. Georgeous faces + shining personalities = photo magic!  Stay tuned for our upcoming photo shoot – I am sure they will be equally bewitching!

Santa Spotting at Childish Couture!

Well, thank goodness I was able to capture this before he flew off to get back to work in time for Christmas!  Thank you to Diane and Erika, the owners at Childish Couture, for letting Santa and me bring joy to childrens’ faces (for the most part *wink*)!  And thank you to our patient Santa who was so great with all the kiddos!
